Produced a project plan to close gaps and provided guidance as to suggested remediation, resulting in considerable cost savings and process improvements. Performed pre-audit and provided attestation to compliance with ISO27001 in advance of formal BSI accreditation.

Global money transfer organisation

Provided Project Management and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) with regard to the implementation and subsequent compliance with Data Privacy legislation across a wide range of jurisdictions in Europe and Asia, as a result of a series of business acquisitions.

Performed a Risk and Impact Analysis in advance of developing a comprehensive Business Continuity Management Plan and IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for the business. This also included the production of a Maintenance Schedule and Crisis Management Plan.

International charity

Provided training to the Internal Audit department of a charity to improve their approach to auditing overseas locations.

Portuguese bank

Developed a regulatory reporting framework for a Portuguese bank which is in the process of converting to a full subsidiary.

AIM listed wealth management company

Designed a risk management framework to enable the Board to effectively influence and control risks in the five major business units and subsequently provided a full internal audit service on an outsourced basis

Private equity company

The client wanted to outsource its Data Centre, so we performed a Risk and Impact Analysis and produced a Statement of Requirements to inform the competitive tendering process. We devised a Balanced Scorecard and facilitated the vendor selection process including supplier selection and due diligence. The outcome of this exercise was a net saving to the client in excess of £1M.

Reviewed existing governance and operational arrangements and made recommendations for improvements and efficiency gains.
