Paul is a Senior Manager with extensive experience in internal audit and risk gained by working in the financial services sector over 35 years. During that time Paul has, at different times, specialised in technology audit, business process improvement, auditing of trading and processing environments, review of mission critical projects and in ‘operating officer’ roles improving the effectiveness of the audit department. Paul has solid international experience, and has considerable knowledge of financial services and the role of internal audit in liaising with national regulators.
Paul started his working career with the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard before finding his niche in internal audit and risk advisory services. This change in direction, initially with some well known UK financial institutions, gave Paul a good grounding before starting a twenty year career with a global American investment and wealth management bank. More recently Paul has decided to share his expertise and knowledge by moving into the professional resource market and has completed successful engagements for clients in banking (global capital markets and investment banking), asset management, insurance and manufacturing.
Paul is a keen sports fan, especially non league association football where he has held numerous positions and roles.
