Tessa joined Kingston Smith Consulting in July 2009 and is a manager within the technology risk management practice.
Prior to joining Kingston Smith Consulting Tessa worked as an Technology risk consultant at Jefferson Wells following a 20 year career within Aviva, the penultimate 7 of which were as an internal IT Auditor conducting detailed audit reviews of data centres (build to management), business continuity, IT disaster recovery, IT service, applications, project management etc. The latter 2 years also involved conducting detailed Control Objectives for IT (COBIT) reviews in Aviva offices and subsidiaries spread across 14 countries.
Tessa specialises in IT service management, project management frameworks, business continuity management, IT governance, data centre management and payment card security. Her qualifications are: Certified Information Security Auditor, Prince2 Practitioner, Certified IT Infrastructure Library Expert (version 3), IIA Qualification in Computer Audit, Global Information Assurance Certification – IT Security Audit and Essentials and Qualified Security Assessor for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
Tessa’s interests outside of work include trying to keep fit, gardening and socialising with friends and family.
